The Africa Responsible Mineral Sourcing Guidelines are scheduled for release in May 2025, setting the foundation for ethical sourcing frameworks across Africa. This initiative seeks to position Africa as a trusted source of responsibly mined minerals, driving sustainable development, fostering economic empowerment, and reinforcing Africa’s role in global ethical supply chains.
The Africa Responsible Mineral Sourcing Initiative (ARMSI) is a collaborative effort to reshape Africa’s mineral sector through sustainable practices, ethical sourcing, and community development. Launched by the Oheneba Poku Foundation (OPF) and the Africa Mineral Strategic Group (AMSG).
